Our primary mission is to equip and encourage our members in the knowledge of God’s Word, equipping them for a lifetime of service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our secondary mission is to provide the fertile soil of community in which homeschooling families can thrive with a place where they can form friendships and grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Our core values are 1) to be evangelistic in nature, 2) committed to teaching God’s Word, 3) to be generous in Spirit, and 4) to be exemplary in stewardship. Our vision for Harvest Homeschoolers is to be a parent-lead co-op that is rich in Bible training, Parent-Taught Enrichment classes, Relationship Building, Family Discipleship, Character Development, and Spiritual Development.
Meet the Directors:
Aimee Elias, Co-Director
Aimee Elias, has been married to her best friend for 15 years and is a mother of two teen children. Homeschooling with intention and christian focus has become a passion of hers. There is nothing more important to her than the family structure that God has set up. She and her family have been on a 5 year homeschooling journey and plan to continue that journey through to graduating both children.
Michelle Horst, Co-Director
I am wife of 21 years to Dennis Horst and mom to Hannah (16), Sarah (15), and Everrett (3). I have been homeschooling for the past 7 years and plan to homeschool all three through graduation! Homeschooling has been very rewarding for our family and we absolutely love it! Our family is very involved here at Harvest and we are truly grateful to have a Pastor who shares in our vision to homeschool and to grow this ministry!
